Crystal directs national media efforts for SMG from Washington, DC. She has an extensive background in television news and national talk radio, and serves as an on-air spokesperson and commentator.

In the early-2000s, she worked for ABC News, Fox News Channel, and CNN.  She stepped out of the media industry in 2005 to represent clients including First Lady Laura Bush, AARP, AOL Foundation, HIA Toys, Hudson and Marshall of Texas, Intralot USA, Meta Bank, American University of Antigua College of Medicine, the Library of Congress, and the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.

She has far-reaching relationships with numerous national media outlets, and she works regularly with national research firms, Washington think tanks, and consumer advocacy groups.  

 

 

    

    

 

She has also worked with national organizations to advance their causes and strengthen their organizations, including the American Enterprise Institute, CATO Institute, Harris Interactive, LaRaza, Urban League, and New America Foundation.

In the 1990s, she established and managed the corporate communications department for Leiner Health Products, a $700 million privately held company. She also served as Vice President of Media Relations for the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, 

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgetown University and holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University.
